Committed to shaping the future, one young life at a time. Greater Things hosted a free sports clinic at Brgy. Bagong Nayon, where we taught the power of teamwork, discipline, and faith.
Coach Jason yearned to serve God but felt ill-equipped—no gift for singing, dancing, ushering, or preaching. In prayer he asked, “Lord, how can I serve You?” and heard, “Anong meron ka?” (“What do you have?”). He discovered his gift: basketball—and God began molding him to preach the Gospel through the game.
With that calling, Coach Jason launched free basketball clinics. Though imperfect and still learning, he taught fundamentals by day and shared Jesus by heart-to-heart. By God’s grace, many young people came to faith—and, inspired, volunteered as coaches and mentors themselves.
Rooted in Ephesians 3:20, the ministry officially became Greater Things, trusting that “He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.”
Volleyball Added: New clinics, fresh friendships, and more opportunities to share Christ’s love.
Leaders Multiply: Former participants now plant outreach teams across barangays and sitios.
Community Partnerships: From Sitio Kaban to Brgy. Bagong Nayon, each free clinic builds skills, belonging, and faith—despite challenges, held up by God’s unfailing grace. Our Core Promise
Imperfect though we are, and amid every challenge, we trust God’s grace, mercy, and love to carry us forward.
As we mark our third anniversary as Greater Things—and look back nine years to that first prayer—we give all glory to God for lives transformed and anticipate the even greater things He has yet to do.
Greater things are yet to come.
